Final Prep

The countdown begins...less than 48 hours till the start. Both nervous and excited! Just doing some final prep, getting the gear together. 

Basic plan for each day is 25km in the morning; take a break for lunch (maybe a quick nap); then another 25km in the afternoon. 

Go home, wash the gear, wash the body, eat, sleep, wake up, repeat (7x).  

Can't wait! Let's get this baby started....

Little "trail rash" on my forearm from a training run. Thankfully I don't fall that often. But when I do, I seem to go down hard, must be the age  ​(nope, didn't fall off a cliff).
